Blackening Waxcap Fungi Pendant
Blackening Waxcap Fungi Pendant
Couldn't load pickup availability
Part of the Autumn Finds Collection - a 6-piece mini collection featuring some of my favourite things about autumn.
A solid metal hand-sculpted Blackening Waxcap Fungi pendant, which is available in both brass and sterling silver (gold upon request). Originally sculpted in fine silver metal clay, the first one was sent off to be moulded so it could be cast in other metals.
This piece features a shaggy cap with a smooth stalk. The silver variant will have a blackened cap, as shown in the pictures, but the brass will be plain. The patina on each silver pendant will vary slightly. Blackening Waxcaps in the wild turn black from the top down, and so will your silver pendant. Each one will be a little different.
To ensure I am not overproducing stock, these items are cast to order and may take up to 28 days to be cast and finished.
Please note - this item does not include a chain. If you would like a chain, please purchase it separately through this listing. These also work fabulously as charms on hoop earrings. which you can purchase separately here.
Current stock: 3 silver, 1 brass
If the stock is 0, the item will be cast to order, which may take up to 28 days to be cast and finished.

Packaging
Packaging
All items come with beautiful packaging and a small polishing cloth, always perfect for gifting.
Single items are packaged in a sustainable cotton gift pouch.
Items that make a set, such as a pendant and chain, are packaged in a S&F branded gift box tied with an eco-friendly 'satin' ribbon.
Patination
Patination
If ordering a piece with a patina, please be aware that the patina will eventually wear down over time; this is normal. A lacquer is applied to protect the colour, but it will not last forever. Avoid getting the jewellery wet or using a polishing cloth on it.
Please get in contact if you would like your piece to have the patina re-done.
