FAQ

Silver & Fern has a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days from receiving your item to request a return. If accepted, you will have 14 days to return your item in the original packaging. Bespoke or personalised items (MTO) cannot be returned.

If the item is faulty, please contact me within 14 days of receipt of your order so I can resolve the issue and arrange for a replacement if possible.

Recycled silver is made from old jewellery, medical equipment and electronics which is melted down and reformed into bars, sheets and wire. It's the same quality as newly mined silver except it's a sustainable alternative!

Everything I create is made using recycled silver and gold so you can be sure your piece of jewellery is always made with sustainable materials.

As already stated, I always use recycled silver and gold. 

I use both sterling and fine silver; it will be stated on the product listing which purity the item is made from. 

I mainly offer 9ct gold as product variants, but am always happy to work with 18ct gold on request. Please get in contact to discuss a piece in 18ct gold.

Some pieces that I get cast to order can be made in brass, bronze, copper or Nordic gold. These are all base metals and will tarnish quicker than a silver piece of jewellery, but it is easy to clean with soap, water and a soft brush. Every order also receives a polishing cloth.

Nordic gold is a very similar colour to brass but is slightly warmer and more tarnish-resistant. It does not contain any gold; the name is purely due to the colour similarity.

Please don't hesitate to get in contact with any questions or queries about bespoke pieces of jewellery, be it a pendant, earrings or a ring. 

I am more than happy to take on commission work but please note that a non-refundable deposit of 50% must be paid upon agreement of the commission so that the materials can be purchased and the remaining 50% must be paid before the item is finished and posted out.

You are more than welcome to do this, although I do not currently have a casting set up to remake it into a new piece of jewellery for you. I can however give you a credit note for the current days spot price of the metal scrap (£/g). 

You can pay via PayPal or credit/debit card. Payments via credit or debit card payments are securely processed. Klarna is also available as a financing option.
