A delicate handcrafted pendant which has been created by imprinting a small section of Shepherds Purse seed pods onto Precious Metal Clay. 
 
This pendant has been handcrafted with Precious Metal Clay which is fine silver (99.9% pure) once fired. It also has a ring of textured recycled sterling silver around the fine silver. This necklace is the perfect gift for a nature lover!
 
The pendant measures approximately 20mm in diameter.

Capsella bursa-pastoris, also known as Shepherd's Purse is a common wildflower. The seedpods of this common wildflower resemble little drawstring pouches worn by medieval peasants, spilling out tiny copper-coloured seeds when broken apart. I also think the seedpods look like tiny heart shapes which are adorable.
